Why a shared library
Most agencies and freelancers who build with Divi keep a personal library of sections, rows and modules they reuse across projects. The trouble is Divi's own Library lives on one site. Reusing a saved item on a different site usually means exporting a layout file on one site and importing it on another, by hand, every time.
DiviVault's Cloud Library is meant to remove that step. Save something once, on any connected site, and it is available in the Visual Builder on every other site connected to the same account. Sections, rows, modules, full pages, CSS, code snippets, design variables and Theme Options snapshots all work the same way.
What you can do today
These parts of the Cloud Library are already available and work exactly as described:
- Right-click a section, row or module in the Visual Builder and choose Save to DiviVault.
- Open the page bar's gear menu and choose Save Page to DiviVault to save a whole page as one layout.
- Open the Cloud Library from the builder bar on any connected site and add a saved item to the page.
- Use the DiviVault tab inside Divi's own Insert Section, Row or Module window.
None of this needs the feature this post is mainly about. If you save from the builder, your library is already shared across every connected site.
Moving a single item, step by step
Saving a section from the Visual Builder today takes three steps:

Right-click the section, row or module
In the Visual Builder, right-click the element you want to reuse and choose Save to DiviVault.

Fill in the save window
Name the item, confirm its type and layout type, pick a category and add tags. Capture a screenshot if you want a thumbnail in the library.

Open it on another site
On any connected site, open the Cloud Library from the builder bar, find the item and add it to the page.
What is coming: Move Divi Library items to DiviVault
Move Divi Library items to DiviVault is Under development. Today, moving something from a site's own Divi Library into DiviVault means saving it again from the builder. The feature this post is named for will let you send items straight from a site's existing Divi Library into DiviVault, one at a time or several at once, without rebuilding them.
This page describes the plan honestly: it is under development, not available yet. We will update this post once it ships.
In the meantime
If you already have items sitting in a site's Divi Library that you want in DiviVault, the fastest path today is to open each one in the Visual Builder and choose Save to DiviVault, the same way you would save anything else. It takes a few extra clicks per item now, and none once the feature above ships.
